One week ago today Wise makes The Catch. Happy Anniversary Dweezy .

And Gavin Floyd needs himself a nickname.

Great job by Gavin and Beckham tonight. Almost a great job by Thornton, and it's nice to see Wise do something at the plate.

That said, the lack of run support and the inability of the 'pen to hold leads is still problematic. I'm happy for the win and all, but the fundamental problems are still there.

This was also the most inconsistently-called strike zone I've seen in a long time. Pathetic.

Man, Wise has that lucky horseshoe, again.

The last 10 days have cut a solid 10-12 years off my life.

No s***. Can't we win a game like 12-1 or so.

But those are years off the end of your life and those years suck anyway.

The new Rally Crede...

You've been DWEEZY'd!

No Jenks at the game tonight . Sick or part of a trade ?

I think Thornton and Obama need to sit down with Floyd over a beer.

Allegedly sick, but the timing is laughably suspicious.

Family reasons.

Bizare game.

Not sure if it's a sign things will start to get better or if it was just a lucky win...lucky in that the Yankees gave us a run and Wise wins the game w/ a walkoff single. Those two things won't happen often

:lolhitting

someone posted that it would take 4 singles to plate 1 run with the hitters we had coming up,it took 3 and that was with Pods pinch running for Jimmy...LOL

Home field advantage.

If that's the truth, it may explain a lot. I hope that everything's OK.

Thank God! Soxtalk might have drank the purple coolaid and committed mass cyber suicide if the Sox had lost this one. Props to Wise with a huge clutch hit!

Floyd, Beckham, Wise, Thornton(except that one pitch) Good s***.

Dye, Thome, Konerko WTF? Jim and Paul, nice of you to show up at the end of the game.

Early in the season I would complain that every game for the Sox (win or lose) was a blowout. Oh, how I long for those days. I can't take this s*** much longer.

Floyd was magnificent! We desperately need to get the bats going though.

Dweezy's batting 1.000 in his last 1 At Bats. :gosox1:

Exciting win. To those of you at the game, what was the atmosphere like?

Was it really loud and wild when we scored the game winner?
