8/17 Sox vs Kansas City 7:11pm CDT - CSN

We will sweep the Royals, mark it down, take it to the bank! I predict 5 of 6 on this homestand while picking up at least a game and a half on Detroit.

I don't even want to watch this series. I just want it to be over with and hopefully the Sox come away with 2 or 3 wins.

Chuck Garfine says they seem to expect a 30 min plus rain delay

weather.com indicates after the 8oclock hour it's much improved

Perfect. I can watch Millionaire and then the Sox without missing either.

So watching the Buehrle tribute, what's more impressive, that Buehrle could go a whole game with out allowing a hit/walk or that our defense went a whole game with out committing an error?

it's a shame - doesn't look like Liriano is ever going to be the pitcher he once was

Rios seemed like he was hitting everything either too the wall or right next to the foul pole while in Oakland.

A lot to straight center too. The ball will carry a lot more in the Cell. So, we should see the power numbers pick up.

Nice. Just finished up Entourage and now I'm ready for a little baseball.

Sometimes I forget how powerful the bombs are that I hit in batting practice. Often times they create thunderstorms. I'll have to tone it down a bit tomorrow.

get andy gonzalez off my tv

Of all games for them to show, why do they choose this one? A classic game from a terrible season with a walkoff homer by a guy not even on the team anymore. Just hearing Hawk get excited that Erstad was coming to the plate made me vomit.

For as many games as CSN carries, their rain delay archives are HORRIFIC.

i think they show games stone worked

not sure why it matters to them but thats the trend ive noticed

Why do they insist on showing games from the worst season in recent memory during rain delays?

Wow, I didnt know there were "Classics" from the 2007 season.

i miss juan

It's the same game they showed last time. Apparently their rain delay archives consist of a single game.

Looks like its time for WHITE SOX BASEBALL
