That helps. Come on Jayson, all we need is a base hit.

Why the f*** are we running on that

Rios is a menace on the bases.

No one is every really toast against the Sox offense. They quit on games so fast it makes your head spin.

This.

Jeff Cox drives me nuts. Not only that, but Rios has got to get into 2nd there.

No joke. Worst case in that situation 1st basemen cuts it off and he gets in a run down and Q scores.

Id rather have a guy like Freddy who has pitched in big games and come through, than a completely unproven rookie making his first career mlb starts in a stretch run.

Sure the rookie could come out and be lights out, its just not my preference.

Has Meche looked this bad the entire game?

We stand to benefit a lot more from Dan Hudson having success at the major league level, than we do Fat Freddy.

5 walks and 8 hits in 4.2 innings, and 4 runs.

Pretty much.

When? 3 years ago?

yes

He's been hanging most of his pitches.

Exactly. Sandy Koufax has pitched in a lot of big games and come through, but his arm fell off and he's 75 years old. Not a reason to put him in the rotation. If Freddy's done, he's done.

Pods missed his fastball. Wont see one again.

Well I was wrong. Threw fastball again.

What the hell was that Pods? Nice inning from Jeff Cox

...

Jeebus, can these guys get a clutch hit?

Awesome clutchness there by us.

9 LOB and 1 for 7 with RISP.

Just another day in Southside paradise.

Just another 1st and 3rd nobody out zero run inning....

Jeez, 9 LOB in 5 innings. We'll likely see a lot of Jamey Wright tonight, and he gives us fits.

Did you watch last night's game?

Let us hope we get the bad Royals bullpen again today.
