San Diego is perfect and that's the problem for me, too clean, too polite, too quiet, not edgy enough. SF is my fav California city, old with just the right balance of beauty and grittyness.

NYC is king, not sure how that's even debatable. As far as it having the biggest and best of most things, well it probably does.

Charleston SC.

New Orleans

Bar Harbor MA.

Seafood and fantastic local breweries

Maine? Or is there a Bar Harbor Massachusetts? In any event I'll be in Bar Harbor, Maine for the weekend. Should be there around noon tomorrow.

Of course there's a hurricane coming. Awesome.

You've gotta be kidding me. That place is such a s*** hole.

I had a bad experience there a few months ago. Safe to say the train station close to midnight when you are drunk, is not the safest place to be.

Outside my hometown of Chicago, in no particular order...

New York

Boston

DC

Memphis

New Orleans (haven't been there post-Katrina, though)

Santa Fe

Yeah Matt, La Crosse WI is awesome. We used to go there almost every summer for the family trip. Good times.
