Hope nobody got hurt there - but I sure do enjoy watching the wheels fall off a team that isn't the White Sox for a change.

Hawk was dead on... Theriot was left out to dry.

What happened?

men on first and third.

AJ hits a dribbler first base side.

Marshall stumbles and fields it, nobody covers first, everybody safe, Beck scores.

I have not been impressed

He's now a versatile 25th man who would have had a longer productive career if it weren't for nagging injuries.

No joke. Talk about awful.

Somewhere in Wyoming there is a 6 year old kid who has never watched a baseball game on tv before today. And he's is going to pick one of these two teams as his favorite team.

Poor kid.

Kotsay is a great platoon bench player but he can not hit LHP, Dye would have been good there if could play first but you do not want to give up the defense.

He is really a pest. He lifted his leg to take out Theriot. I know it's probably fair slide (you shouldn't be raising those spikes though), but sometimes you gotta consider the possibility of injuring someone rather than making a play a bit more difficult.

kotsay is a waste

You can add Rios, hope he gets his s*** together for 2010

Pierzynski's slide may have also contributed to the throw not having much on it. That's getting overlooked.

Q just looks terrible swinging the bat.

I just watched Tyler Flowers at bat again, WOW that kid has good strike zone judgement, and his out was a good swing.

Swisher would have been better on this team playin al 3 OF positions and 1B, but it is what it is

At least I saw a pitch or two of Flowers' first atbat ever.

Wow Q, well work with what you have.

Wow I thought we are bad, but Cubs are f***ing brutal.

lol

The Julian Tavarez homage - rolling the ball to second.

Terrible swing by Quentin. Lucky result.

Swisher was getting paid a ton more than Kotsay, and is rumored to have a bad attitude. (probably wouldnt translate well to bench player.)

Kotsay seems like a good guy, has a decent swing and understands his role.

Uh oh 5-run lead, that's Linebrink territory

I want to bat around so we can see flowers again.

we'll take it.

eff...

nvm jinx

I'd really be fine with essentially shutting Quentin down and letting AJ and Flowers split catching/DH duties.

I assume Bobby Jenks is in and if so he needs to leave his gas can in the pen
