As long he makes the minimum forget about it. Now as soon as he is eligible to make some serious $$ then yeah of course they will look to trade him.

As for what it would take. They'd probably take Beckham straight up. Otherwise we'd prolly have to go with either Hudson/Flowers plus some combination of Danks/Shelby/Retherford/Morel

Beckham and Hudson.

He hasn't even got into his arbit years yet. He isn't going anywhere until he signs his first big contract.

Pirates have traded away some real good young talent for sure, but I think we would be dreaming on this one. Plus what are we loking at in our own system? Shelby-Danks etc

They are so far away that they would need ready-to-go help at five positions to even think about it. Otherwise, they're far better off going for a one-star fan draw the next few years and hoping that other things materialize around him on the roster.

 

They need so much help elsewhere that filling even several holes ...it's not an attractive option for them.
