Give us one last solid outing this year Freddo.

We need to force Verlander on us. Let's get it done, Freddy!

I hate the Twins, but it would be great to sweep the Tigers right out of the playoffs. Go get 'em Freddy!

That's how I look at it, and I'm confident the Yankees will crush the Twins.

1-0 Twins in the bottom of the 6th.

i would love to know the rationale by Fox for showing the phillies vs. marlins in Los Angeles as their game of the week.

Would be better if the Twins sweep the Royals, we win 1 vs Detroit, Brewers win their final game tomorrow.

We would own the 13th pick in the draft, and the Twins and Tigers can fight in the Metrodome one last time.

As much as I hate Minny,it would be funny as hell to sweep Detroit, regardless of what the Twins do...who cares anyway as either Det or Minn will be eaten alive by NY.

Get er done,Freddy :headbang

So you're not watching Notre Dame v. Washington ?

I'd say about 6 inches as of right now.

From press pass :

Rookie Gordon Beckham ranks among the American League

rookie leaders in doubles (1st, 28), RBI (63), extra-base hits (43),

slugging percentage (T1st, .466), home runs (2nd, 14), on-base

percentage (2nd, .351) and average (3rd, .272).

TWO-BAGGER TIDBITS

 Gordon Beckham has recorded 28 doubles in just 101 games

with the White Sox this season … Beckham, who could play in

a maximum of 103 games, owns the club record for the most

doubles in 103 or fewer games … Tom Paciorek held the previous

club mark with 27 in 1982.

eeewww,you're a dirty perv

The games is already on. Pods single ,Beckham K, Pods steals 2nd.

AJ and Paulie both line out to Maggs.

Also from press pass:

A.J. Pierzynski needs one hit to establish a franchise record

for the most hits by a catcher in a single season … he currently

has 150 hits as a catcher this season, matching his own mark

set in 2006 and 2008 … he also is looking to become the first

catcher in club history to record a .300 average or better.

Q-dinger 428 feet.

Kotsay walk, Rios single. 2 on no outs.

Nice to see, even if it is late in the season. I wonder how long and how much the foot bothered him.
