I just found out that two students at the church/school I work for were confirmed to have the H1N1 virus this evening.

 

Please pray for these students and all the people they may have come in contact with.

 

On a good note, this was a 3 day weekend, so hopefully that limited SOME additional exposure to the virus.

I hope nothing terrible happens to them (besides having the flu).

 

I believe U of I has had 700 reported cases thus far though, not sure on that number as I just heard it from someone. But I do know that it is quite a high number.

Also, nearly 20% of canadians and more than 40% of mexicans admitted to hospitals for swine flu in their countries died. Haven't seen US stats yet.

my grandmother just sent me a care package. opened it up. 3 bottles of purel. jesus. I can buy my own purel if i thought it was so friggin necessary. guess what? haven't used it, haven't contracted the swine.
