October 16, 200916 yr http://www.sporcle.com/games/maggsmaggs/whitesoxdraftpicks Can you name all the White Sox first-round draft picks since 1985? DO IT and post results.
October 16, 200916 yr Cool idea. I love Sporcle... Anyway, got a 17 out of 26, which I don't think is too bad considering I wasn't even born yet when some of those picks occurred. Got all of 2000 (which is when I 1st started following the baseball draft) to now, plus Ventura, Thomas, Fernandez, Johnson, Dallaero, Wells, and Stumm.
October 16, 200916 yr I only got 14. Not my best work, I couldn't think of Mark Johnson's name. I could picture his face and everything too. I love sporcle. I spend way too much time there.
October 16, 200916 yr 23/26. I missed 86, 92, 93. Other than Kurt Brown (who I knew as one of the biggest bust in our franchise) alot of the early years are much harder sans the bigger names. Luckally, I still remembered alot of guys (most dawned the uni) though I must admit, spelling their names kills you. Jason Dellaero? I must have spelled his name wrong literally 20 times before I got it right with just the right amount of time.

October 16, 200916 yr Got 13...all of the 00's other than Honel, none of the 90's other than Wells, and got Black Jack, Frank, and Robin. Edited October 16, 200916 yr by Quinarvy
October 16, 200916 yr Can't believe that I drew a blank on Aaron Poreda, Josh Fields and Joe Borchard. Duh.
October 16, 200916 yr Author I just took and got all of them. Well I created it, so that's probably why. I love late 80s we had great picks and then we sucked big-time for the next two decades basically. Hopefully that ship has turned around with Beckham.
October 16, 200916 yr I got 20 of 26. I got Dellaro and Johnson but had nothing in between there...97 and current was perfect...than Kurt Brown, McDowell, Fernandez, Ventura, Big Hurt.
October 16, 200916 yr I tried it and got up to 16 before I sat there trying to remember Scott Ruffcorn's name. Once I finally did my computer crashed and the blue screen of death popped up. Literally. Coincidence?
October 20, 200916 yr I got 15 right. All of the 2000's and Wells, and Johnson in the 90's and Thomas, Ventura, and Mcdowell in the 80's. I spent at least 3 minutes trying to spell Kyle Mcculloch
October 20, 200916 yr QUOTE (kev211 @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 07:03 PM) I got 15 right. All of the 2000's and Wells, and Johnson in the 90's and Thomas, Ventura, and Mcdowell in the 80's. I spent at least 3 minutes trying to spell Kyle Mcculloch I had to google search his name after trying like 10 times. I got 13 right, basically 2000 and forward plus Thomas and Ventura.
October 20, 200916 yr I got 19 right, with Dellaero nearly at the last second. For some reason, I was able to recall all the picks from 1995-2001, and the ones from 2003 to the present. Missed Royce Ring :-( but he was pretty forgettable. I guess I followed the Sox most closely in the late 80's when I was in grade school / high school and had all the time in the world.
October 26, 200916 yr Got something in the mid-teens Mistook Ruffin for Ruffcorn Christmas for Christman Stumm / Strumm Easy one's I missed Mitchell Borchard Anderson Almost missed Poreda I did get Eddie Pearson and thought Mitchell was Johnson so Mark Johnson was a mistake.
