Also noticed at the bottom it said the Dodge have the most potential FAs with 16. Why on earth would you appoint your wife as an executive in the first place. Did McCourt get his money from her? What a mess this is gonna turn out to be?

The eye-popper:

She wants $321,000 a month in spousal support if reinstated to her former position. If not, she believes she should be paid nearly $488,000 per month.

Seriously?!?!

thats just a small part of her demands, NSS. Check this out

travel by private jet

- 5 star hotel accommodations

- travel expenses - Unlimited

- business dinners 5 nights per week

- business lunches 5 days per week

- making Dodger Legends available for events without charge

- access to team doctors for McCourt family members

- access to the owner’s suite for Dodger home games and non-baseball events at the stadium

- Tickets to All-Star games and playoff games — even if the Dodgers aren’t playing

- a pass to all National League games

As Chris Rock says..

"I'm not saying he should've killer her, but I understand."

This guy here is dead!

I support Jamie. She was the brains behind the operation anyway.

Whose to say those perks weren't contractually included in the gig?

Cross him off, then!

I tried to think of something I could say here without catching a 3 day vacation from this lovely message board about Ms. McCourt. Here's what I got...

I'm pretty sure the marriage gig didn't contractually obligate $331-$448k per MONTH for the rest of her life.

Depending on how long they have been married, and how much money they have made together, not to mention if there is a pre-nup, it might. If nothing precludes it, she is entitled to keep living her lifestyle in a lot of states.

Not unreasonable based on prior earnings, etc. As SS mentioned, she is entitled to maintain her current lifestyle. Basically the laws are written so that no human is held economically captive by another.

Don't s*** where you sleep.

I am specifically referring to the baseball and travel-related perks possibly being part of the CEO gig.

I'm pretty sure the saying is "Don't s*** where you eat," but that just might be how I've heard it.

Yep, that's the saying as I understand it too.
