November 25, 200916 yr God, I would have gone ballistic 5 years ago to hear we got Omar Visquel and Andruw Jones. I find this move odd, but I understand it. Hell, I think it can work. It’s a great fallback option if things don’t work out for us this offseason. I just hope like hell we have our eyes on a bigger prize.

We only have 1 corner outfielder right now and our CF is an elite defender, little early for this kind of thinking. I'd also say the Vizquel signing improved our team defense quite a bit.

I'm in a Junior kind of mood about this. It's kind of a middling signing. The guy we think of is not the guy that would be signing this contract. Although, it probably says the Sox are the best team he could sign with, because he isn't playing for the money.
