December 23, 200916 yr QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Dec 22, 2009 -> 05:21 PM) So the Royals are paying Anderson 200k more than we are paying Andruw Jones? Now this is funny.
December 23, 200916 yr QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 22, 2009 -> 04:43 PM) He always has been except when he was whining about playing time while working out in San Diego a few years ago.
December 23, 200916 yr QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Dec 23, 2009 -> 02:00 AM) except when he was whining about playing time while working out in San Diego a few years ago. Clarification: he has been after his disastrous 2007 season when he almost saw his career go up in flames and was completely forgotten about.
December 23, 200916 yr QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Dec 22, 2009 -> 03:21 PM) So the Royals are paying Anderson 200k more than we are paying Andruw Jones? Sounds about right to me.
December 23, 200916 yr I am sure its because of the high ceiling and great potential he has. Maybe he will suddenly change and concentrate on baseball rather than women, or maybe he will cut down on his swing or maybe the coaching in KC is better than ours. I am sure there will be some moronic explanation of why he has failed, because it couldn't be because he sucks.

December 24, 200916 yr It's been a dead issue for a while - people (like me) wanted him to get another chance, he got his chance, he blew it and never did anything special for the Sox so that's that.
December 24, 200916 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 24, 2009 -> 11:50 AM) Will we give him a standing O before his first Ab at the Cell? It depends on whether he strikes out swinging on a "down and away" pitch or not.
December 24, 200916 yr Dewayne Wise accomplished more than BA in half the time in a Sox uniform.. and he got a minor league deal.
