What message boards do you frequent?

Featured Replies

I love this board like a wife (even though I'm never in life getting married). Jason and Co. do an amazing job here. With that said, I like to frequent other message boards with regularity. I think it's good to get another fanbase's perspective on things. I like http://www.orioleshangout.com/, http://www.motownsports.com/forums/, http://www.philaphans.com/, http://sonsofsamhorn.net/index.php?. These are 4 of the best message boards out there. Like us, they're very in tune and dedicated to their teams. I know it's popular to despise Red Sox fans. But they're supremely knowledgeable and they know a s***load about Sabermetrics. I've learned a great deal from this board. Just wondering who from this great board visits other boards.

I only post on this one, but I like to check some of the SB blogs and BaseballPrimer.com. A lot of the SB blogs are garbage with little to offer and a lot of people trying to break the Deadspin record for cynical commentary, but there's a lot of good stuff to be had at AthleticsNation, DraysBAy, Lookout Landing, Minor League Ball, and Beyond the BoxScore.

Baseball-wise, I've read WSI a little, but I'm a one baseball board type of guy.

This and recently, the MLBTR one. Only because I like making fun of stupid trade ideas.

Hawks main board, Stuy's 300 level, WSI , TalkBears, MLBTR

I really like the Hangout too!

Contractortalk.com is pretty cool; just found that one. I've been ruining people's days on ESPN.com since like 2004. The WhiteSox representation on there is pretty slim, but who cares. At least there are like 100 new topics to talk about every day.

Motown sports is not a good message board, at least in the hockey sense, they are terrible fans.

this

Scout.com's White Sox message Boards.

Not a lot of people but but its almost like a close knit family as there are about 15-20 regulars. Sign up and post! There's always room for more!

I used to be a regular over there...actually, that is where both Scenario and myself migrated from when we came here.

I'm having fun over there as well, the A's board seriously has a proposal landing them both Peavy and Wright for like 2 prospects and every scrub on their team.

I use to post on the Seattle Times Seahawks message board, but it became overrun with Steeler trolls for years after Super Bowl 40 and trolls in general.

same as here. I've posted maybe 4 or 5 times total.

bucknuts.com and they are crazier and more negative fans than here.

I used to frequent Illiniboard, but once I realized how truly delusional and crazy most Illini fans are, I have for the most part stayed away from there.
