lol 5 runs on 2 outs. that's how the Twins do it.

playing like a team in control of its own destiny

This Twins lineup is brutal (compared to what they normally have). However, they just find ways to keep winning.

Alright, guys, can we just stop with the "That's how the Twins do it" and "Wow, the Twins don't ever make an error (false) or choke in games (false) or play lousy (false)" or "Goddamn, I want to suck the Twins dong!" It's getting like listening to Hawk in here. They're a damn good team, and they play that way -- but that's as far as it should go. Not picking on you, WilliamTell.

I hear you, but I also watch basically every Twins game since I'm in their area. I see how many so called lucky breaks they get, but they also take advantage of them.

No problem. They're opportunistic -- good farm system and excellent field manager, no question. And they've fielded a better lineup than us all year. But I distinctly remember them pissing away the division to us the last weekend of 2008, looking so feeble against Danks in Game 163 (including having one of their "heady" players get thrown out at home by a convalescent 38-year old centerfielder), and -- as recently as this week -- blow a huge lead to the Tigers on Thursday night. So, as great as our perception of them often is, they do suck sometimes.

I didn't see the lineups, is Hamilton playing?

Rangers sure ain't July/August hot, they always fade.

By the way, I also think that they're peaking too soon. (I know; crazy thought) We've got to hang around.

Thome makes it 6:0, doubt Rangers are coming back from this one.

They will win tomorrow tho, gotta sweep the Red Sox.

Thome makes it a 9:0 game, 3 run shot. *yawn*

Piling on now . . . high-water mark for the Twins this year? We shall see.

Please tell me Lee is pitching tomorrow so they have a shot at winning a game.

Nevermind. Bad back.

CJ Wilson vs Nick Blackburn.

Lee is missing a start because of injury.

The way he's been pitching lately, it's probably a good thing he's missing the start regardless.

The White Sox control their own destiny as well.

Wow! How rude!

Dude pitches 5 2/3 solid innings for you and you DFA him? Ha, the realities of a pennant race...

Twins already up 2-0.

I f***ING hate the Twins.

Twins only up 6-4 now. Come on Texas, have a come back just like we did.

1st and 2nd, two out. Murphy can tie this game or get the Rangers the lead.

Guerrero up with the bases juiced.

Loaded for the RANGERS, VLAD 2 out in the 9TH!!!

OMG WHAT THE f***?!?!
