I've thought that there was more talent behind Robinson anyway in Devin Gardner, he is ridiculously talented.

I don't think Gardner isn nearly as talented as Robinson. Gardner is more along the lines of a Pryor compared to Robinson being like a Vick. I think Gardner could be the better quarterback, but Robinson is a playmaker.

Now Hoke needs to find a QB since it sounds like Robinson has asked and gotten a release from Michigan.

Is there an article anywhere about this?

I saw where Forcier's leaving, but I haven't seen anything about Robinson.

Robinson isn't officially gone yet. I'd be surprised if he left, because I can't see him wanting to wait a year. If he leaves (along with Forcier who would have been a competent starter), it likely will be Rich Rod's first year all over again.

Is Dee Hart for sure gone?

If Hoke can somehow get him, which I doubt, Michigan will still have talent on offesne. Hemingway and Roundtree back and Gardner is a skilled QB, be it inexperienced at the level.

Fixing that defense will take more than a year though.

Yeah, Dee Hart to Alabama is pretty solid. Hart's best friend is also a Tide commitment.

Ravens' Defensive Coordinator Greg Mattison will be taking the same position at the University of Michigan.
