VIDEO PROOF: Carlos Quentin DOES laugh

Featured Replies

But he was furious on the inside

It is fun to watch some of the players get a kick out of his batting stances. Kinda surprising some of them take it so well lol.

One with Manny and Rafael is good too.

and he's so good. and it's amazing he has those all bottled up inside him so that when a guy goes "do Bard" he can. I mean Josh Bard? You've memorized HIS stance? jeez.

I know how to do Josh Bard's stance...

From a realistic point of view, that guy's not that good. He's just funny cause he over-exaggerates everything.

Oh yeah, my avatar is proof that Quentin does smile.

Why is this f***er trying to imitate my perfect stance? MUST RESIST TRYING TO CHOKE HIM.

so if i were to tell you to do Wilson Betemit's you could on the spot?

or JJ Hardy?

or Pablo Sandoval?

I expect a youtube video by the time I'm back home from work. :)

It's kinda creepy seeing Quentin smile and laugh... like somebody is going to die next.

correction: this is proof that quentin CAN laugh. To say that he does laugh implies that it's happened more than once. ever.

Betemit is in a crouch, slightly open, bat usually hanging over the head and bent downwards.

JJ Hardy is in a slight crouch arms extended out, slightly open stance.

Pablo Sandoval is open, slight wiggle with the bat near his shoulder.

And I don't do YouTube videos, lol.

I edit batting stances in baseball games a lot, it's only natural I know these.

Well.. a year ago.. (still a while back) but it was posted before here.. :P

there are some things u never think u will see in life, Quentin laughing is one of them.

Am I the only one who finds this guy's shtick getting old? Yeah, he can imitate the batting stances really well but there's something about him that bugs me. I think a big part of it may be the awkward run that he does after acting like he hits the ball. Unnecessary and just not funny.
