GAME THREAD: 4/10 Twinkies vs Sox - 12:05pm cdt CSN+, Baker vs Garcia

Featured Replies

Hudson made the same play as Rios last night.

Both of them didnt see the ball, it happens.

Rios wasnt even half way, he just was running to 3rd. Last night we thought maybe Hudson thought their were 2 outs (not 1), Rios on the other hand just didnt seem to see the ball at all.

Last time Freddy looked this good was against the Angels, I'm sure some of you guys remember the significance of that game...............

Edit: Not talking about 2005, I believe it was 2006 or 2007

I remember that game and in it Hawk did one of the things that I hate, not that it actually affects the game in any way, but I'm superstitious like that.

yeah it was pretty obvious that Rios just didnt pick up the ball, he must've saw it dropping or something, i agree with you there

It's too bad that teams don't have a guy standing behind third base to inform base runners. How am I the first person to have thought of this?

Oh MAN those new Minnesota unis are BRUTAL!

Well what was the third base coach doing in that situation. Sure I can buy that Rios was just moving into 3rd, but Cox should be screaming his head off telling him to get back.

keep getting that pitch count up

I kinda like them, but what do I know?

Why, baker is worse than their bullpen right now. They should take advantage while he is lobbing them up there.

What? A hit by the leadoff man? Holy cow batman!

Good AB Juan

I actually like them.

steal here, for the love of god, steal here

Good AB by Pierre. About the only thing I like about the guy is that he never strikes out.

nice job Pierre, let's go Beckham!

That ten pitch at bat by Pierre even though he only got "soft" single could be a turning point for getting him on track

Beckham took two easy-to-crush pitches right there.

Nice AB Beckham

A Beckham double would be nice.

Froze Gordo right there. Good to see Pierre trying to get into scoring position

A Beckham double would be nice.

Or not.

Not even an attempt at stealing 2nd, and Beckham strikes out (again)

I don't understand why this team can't comprehend how to play a god damn baseball game

I know it's only 5 games in, but if Beckham has a "sophomore slump", it's going to be hard to contend.
