Mark has got to be the best fielding pitcher in baseball without question. His instincts are amazing. He deflects that ball right to Gordon for the DP.

To be fair for the first several games he was drilling line drives right at people. Last few games, not so much.

It's all relative. He looked like an actual major league hitter this past week compared to the swings he was taking last fall for us.

Good to hear

No. A line drive is a line drive. If Rios was feebly rolling it over to the left side, I'd admit that. But the first several games he was hitting the ball very well.

let's go AJ

Maggs is killing the baseball. It's a good time to be a former White Sox player.

Right now, every left handed bat we have is sucking horribly.

The bottom five in our lineup all hitting under .200.

We need Lou Brown as our manager.

Everytime you guys pop up you're doing 20 pushups!

Teahen's OBP - .353.

Gotta like that since he has a .083 average.

Carlos Lee is only batting .158

To be fair, we only have 2 players hitting above .200

Bottom 5? The whole team is under .200 save for 2 or 3 guys.

He's walking at least. Once he starts hitting, he'll be nice to have.

And as I say that, he grounds out.

Tough break on that grounder, as the 2nd baseman was covering. Teahen really doesn't hit the ball hard at all!

Can Juan Pierre please get a hit?

How about the 1st RBI single of the season?

OFFTOPIC: Charlie Heager 12 K's vs Marlins. He was in the Sox system not too long ago, knuckleballer.

Juan Pierre can't hit it hard enough to drop and he can't hit it soft enough to drop. He is teh suck.

Kenny WIlliams is an idiot.

What an awful player Pierre is. It's just mind-blowing how awful the past two offseasons have been. That's why there's such a huge talent gap between us and the Twins.

Perfect hitter for this ballpark. Excellent acquisition.

He needs to go to Nick Punto's school of bloops and seeing eye singles.

With rumors of how down the organization is on Flowers, just how awful was the Javy Vazquez trade to the Braves?
