.111 and sinking

Next time someone uses Spring Training stats to judge a hitter/pitcher, they should be forced to watch Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants...1 and 2!

Our new motto should be the Royals' motto the last 20 years: "We stink. So what?"

Royals fans, the 15,000 who go every night have learned to enjoy the cheap promotions and the experience cause the team sucks. It is a huge bonus if they win. That's how I see our team this year.

The team to freak out about is the Blackhawks. They have a chance. A real chance.

Problem is that we have double the payroll and tickets are what, 5-6th most expensive in baseball? These arent cheap games to go to, the expectations for a team with this size of a payroll is completely different than that of the Royals. We also won the WS just 5 years ago, you cant compare the fans nor the teams to each other.

Man, there's extrapolating from small sample sizes...

Doesn't seem like I'm far off in my estimation.

The extended director's cut.

I would have thought that a sub-par game would make we want to stop following it and get some work done, but no...

Well, if that has Blake Lively nude scenes in it, then I would much rather watch that.

The first one was actually okay...lol, that blonde girl is hot at least.

That's what happens when you're in China and can't watch tv besides NBA games, you have to watch some really questionable movies.

I was even considering watching The Bounty Hunter and Green Zone the other day.

PS: Or any movie with Nicole Eggert, that's not bad watching compared to our offense...

But April stats...those are GOLDZ!

Green Zone looks decent.

Didn't that come out last year?

I also was able to watch Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants Rowland, about a soxtalk poster here who occasionally starts new threads.

About 3 or 4 months ago I believe.

Pretty solid outing for Gavin so far.

That's true, but you wait: The Sox will come up with some cheap seat or parking promotions this season before it's over. They'll have to.

I just think at this point it's worth it to criticize every little thing in a Blackhawks game cause that team really has a chance and it's worth geting worked up about.

This lousy Sox team has absolutely no chance unless the staff gives up 1-2 runs a night the rest of the year.

That would take starters going into the eighth inning every night giving up 1-2 runs max and that ain't gonna happen either.

So enjoy the games for what they are.

i say we start making fire ozzie shirts and make people wear them at cell.

They're already having all kinds of special deals being promoted on facebook and twitter. Advance ticket sales must be plummeting.

So who takes the blame for this awful product? With 70 or some home games left, you're looking at huge payroll implications for the next few seasons if this crap keeps up.

even bad baseball is better than work!

Why couldn't we have Adam LaRoche instead of Mark Kotsay?

I guess he wasn't in the budget either.

Great job, Juanie...way to make it easy for the pitcher.

Late Breaking News: Pierre just grounded out!! Who knew??????

A lot of blame goes to Kenny for assembling this pile of crap but Ozzie's decisions and lineups have been absolutely brutal so far.

He's almost to .200, and his OPS is well below .500 now.

Probably because he would like to start?

Well, at least if Juan's going to bunt or ground out weakly, there wasn't a runner in scoring position to further aggravate us.

Only Juan can be aggravated with himself....I've given up caring about him and Kotsay.

Thank you Jones for taking that walk, just to avoid a 4 pitch inning.
