I think its one of the games that if bullpen keeps us in it, we come back and win.

Now that's the kind of optimism I like to see!

And if not, at least we have these great NHL Playoff commercials.

I've not had this feeling once this year, even when it has happened, and especially not against a pitcher like Eveland.

This offense is not going to have a shot against even decent pitching as constructed.

I mean, I don't even know what to say.

I do...DON'T ADD BERKMAN!

you don't want another national leaguer on the downside of his career?

This message is for fathom only. PLease don't highlight if you are not fathom:

Scotty Pods is 2-4 with a HR and 4 RBI

:(

That pitch right there...good lord, no chance.

WTF??

Ooh, I see Johnny Ely is starting tonight for the Dodgers.

How exactly was that last pitch not a strike.

Awesome use of the spoiler tag. I'm watching the game mix channel. Santos is amazing though, I can't believe how good he looks.

88 mph fast balls galore!

Santos is nasty!

Vernon Wells tipped his cap at Santos to start the at bat. Classy.

Come on Nix...get it going.

Atta boy Santos.

Now 2 of Nix/Pierre/Gordon get on base and lets tie this thing up

Ely just K'd Fielder on a nasty 2 seam 90 mph fastball

Royals come back from 8-0 down to tie their game at 9-9. Hillman rewards them by putting in Bruce Chen to try and hold the Rangers down. I'm sure this ends well...

I actually liked Ely a lot...I was sad to see him being part of that deal.

My brother played with him in high school, so of course I'll root for him. With that said, I don't think he's an AL caliber starter.

I really hate what they've done to Nix's swing. They made him a lot less aggressive, as he's one of those guys you tell to just pull the ball and hit it as hard as you can.

Another popout...boyoboy...

Hawk sounds more pessimistic than any of us. With that said, we're going to get no-hit one of these days.

I'm surprised we're not hearing louder boos

OK..now..that one was NOT a strike..
