I think the gun is a little hot right now, Gavin hit 96 a few times today and I don't think he throws that hard.

 

That's what I was thinking too, but MLB Gameday backs the velocity up for Jenks. Also, it has Thornton at about 96-97, which is pretty accurate.

The NL is terrible and there is no debate none no argument at all.

How quickly we forget. '05 Jenks was basically current Jonathan Broxton with a devastating curve instead of a slider.

I don't forget. Jenks has been a great closer for the Sox.
