Jose Lima, Dead at 37

Featured Replies

Not sure which thread this should go in, but Jose Lima, 37, dies from a heart attack. (from ESPN's bottom line)

Massive heart attack.

Always one of my favorites for some reason.

Lima-time was actually kinda cool. RIP.

Well he was some what a celebrity...

I was just thinking about him a week or two ago for some reason. This sucks. RIP.

Always entertaining when he pitched.

Way too young. He annoyed me when he pitched.

RIP

You were thinking about his wife. It's cool. I've thought about her everyday for the last 6 years.

In no way am I saying Lima's character should be questioned, but I really hope we don't start seeing this a lot more often with players we've followed closely due to lifestyle and training programs. I'd hate for the world of sports to become like professional wrestling.

RIP Jose. Though not always great, he was usually entertaining

I wonder if steroids had anything to do with this his heart problems. RIP Lima Time
