There is something wrong with Peavy. It's either an injury, mechanics, or simply losing his stuff. He's always been a slider-dominant pitcher, and outside of maybe 2 starts, he's lost that pitch.

He was a dominant strike out pitcher in the NL. Of course, he had a plus-plus slider then. I would say he has an average at best slider now.

If THAT was a slider, it's the worst slider I've seen in my life. That looked like a changeup to me with no movement. There is NO movement on that "slider"
