Paulie goes to right field twice, two RBIs today. Nice.

Wish all hitters would take it where it's pitched.

PK! Hell of an AB.

It seems like Nady should have gotten to that though.

CQ, take some damn pitches.

PAULIE!! And Silva is STILL in! Wow.

What kind of pitch was it to Konerko?

What is Lou doing?

Again, thanks for pitching to Konerko with Quentin up next.

Bring Mark out for the 8th? Try your luck with Thornton or Sergio?

Carlos BLOWS today. Did he forget that he took Silva out for 2 HR when he faced him a couples months ago?

What a f***ing prick Silva is. Don't show up your outfielder. Worry about yourself Carlos.

What about the 7th? We should worry about that before we talk about the 8th.

Seems Lou is trying to become Dusty Baker now....

What a terrible swing/pitch to swing at by Q.

I'd get Thornton and Santos ready in the bullpen.

No brainer to let him start the seventh. If he can make it through seven it should be Thornton to Jenks in eighth and ninth IMO.

Putz!

Assuming that we do get to the 8th inning, yes, Putz is the correct answer against this RH batter loaded lineup. Make the Cubs shuffle stuff around at least.

Silva still pitched a very good game from all accounts. I know our offense isn't exactly great, but I still thought he could score about 4-6 runs off him.

Also GREAT outing by Buehrle today.

Wow, Santos/Thornton warming up

What's with Carlos in the OF? Why does he always cadillac the play in RF?

I'd actually put Putz as my number 1 option. Even if people get on, Theriot is the 4th guy up this inning and he hit RH.

There's really no reason to get Thornton warmed up today.

Silva's doing a great job throwing more offspeed stuff this season. He used to be sinker/sinker/sinker/sinker in the AL.
