Ugh. Mary Mattlin in the front row behind the Sox dugout.

Hawk just said something good, then something stupid.

He said the two hole is very important, very true.

Then he said Vizquel is the best 2 spot hitter we've had in a long time.

Does long time mean last year? Because Gordon was great last year...

Iguchi was pretty good for us too.

Alex is looking like crap against Strasburg.

Lots of players are going to look like crap against Strasburg. He has an incredible repertoire.

But it's Alex Rios. You'd expect him to look a little better than just about every other hitter in our lineup.

Gotta do our best to take away the bunt here. Strasburg is very slow.

Inning over.

double play!

BOOM b****es!

Wow, what a play!!

Haha morons.

Or not...

Finally a weakness in his game... he's an absolutely horrible bunter. LOL.

nats announcers say strasburg is only going 7 no matter what his pitch count is....

Great news.

The Nats bullpen isn't that bad though.

What is this heads-up baseball the Sox have been playing for a week or so? Did we change managers without telling anyone?

Great news.

it's part of their development plan for him i guess

Well, obviously Strasburg wasn't signed for his hitting prowess.

Even though these victories aren't great ones, on the road...that's a confidence builder, and the fact that our starters who were struggling are starting to come back to their "normal" selves, I'm not quite ready to believe in this team until they can start beating AL teams, but momentum is a very powerful thing in baseball.

The Tigers and White Sox have it, the Twins don't, for the moment.

5 1/2 games back didn't even seem remotely possibly 2 weeks or so ago.

Capps is definitely one of their weaker spots in the pen. Storen has been pretty good. Clippard has been good for the most part, a little over-used.

Let's knock him out of this game

konerko out ahead of the 97 mph fastball

His contract won't let him pitch over 100 innings this season in the MLB.

This is most definitely not over yet.
