I can't believe either of them could even walk today, let alone play professional tennis.

What will be interesting is how well he plays in his next match. This reminds me of the old joke about Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles playing tennis, endless love . . .

 

 

Oops, just saw he lost. Duh

He lost 6-0, 6-3, 6-2 in just about 75 minutes. Zero aces after having 112 in the marathon match. Didn't see that coming.

Some endorsement deal will come out of that match though. He did more for his off court career than he would have if he won a couple more matches in normal fashion.

I was at Wimbledon today, and watched Isner for the first set and a bit.

 

He had absolutely nothing left in the tank. Could hardly run around the court and was serving only basic 100MPH serves.

 

Got a really nice ovation as he came out though.
