Sox vs Cubs 6-27 game thread 1:05 first pitch

That's not even normal AJ.

And that is why you let it go this time that he didn't run to first. It's not normal AJ. He looked sick on the strike 3 which happens in a sport where you get fooled a lot more than you excel.

Lousy at bat by Beckham.

This is where Gordon begins his comeback.

Or not.

That's some pretty awful analysis. What are you even saying?

We could definitely use another big bat in this lineup.

I'm saying AJ struck out and walked back to the dugout.

Big deal. Move on.

What is Oz supposed to do, scream at him?

I was responding to a post that said he should sit the rest of the game. Dumb.

:)

I was wondering the same thing myself...

With some good ab's next inning and a hit or walk we can hopefully get Dempster out of the game after 5 innings.

I've seen managers pull players for less crap than that.

Pierre getting on will be key IMO. Seems to throw Dumpster off a bit.

Why to the White Sox suck?

Danks getting hit hard. He may be on a short leash.

Verlander getting knocked around a bit.

Pulling AJ there for not running to first would be the dumbest move in baseball history.

We've won 11 in a row. He is a veteran. He would have got thrown out anyway. If it's something Oz is mad about, he should mention it after the game.

In a perfect world does everybody play like Pete Rose? I guess yes.

Reading the game thread makes me feel like the Cubs are about to break the game wide open and are dominating but I dont know cause I am not watching. Seriously i dont know if I am reading this through correctly.

Totally. That you can't argue with.

Danks not having a good game, that's all.

That wasn't just "Not playing like Pete Rose", that was not even paying attention to the ball after it got away from the catcher because he was too busy flipping his bat.

They're up 3-2 but our bats have been silent for the last 2 innings while theirs are heating up.

f***

Make that 5-2.

This is annoying.
