My biggest problem with Hawk now is he's too into his own schtick. He doesn't just announce the game enough, he almost think he has to be "Hawk" at all times.

That's what worries me about Beckham...he has no power or carry on any of his fly balls. So far this year, he looks physically overmatched.

 

But he has before had carry on his contact. Last year does allow for some projection. I think he is too coachable of a kid and allowed himself to get caught up in the tinkering game. Lets fix something that isnt broke.

I said nearly that same exact thing a couple pages back. I often wonder what he sounded like around 20 years ago.

I agree with you but with the current forms of media on tv he does not need to inform the viewers of what they had to as recently as five years ago

Think about it...we didn't even complain when Jayson Nix was playing RF in a game.
