7/24 GT: Sox @ A's - 3:10 CDT - FOX

I will say it's nice though not having to hear Hawk overreact about a routine ground out hit by Kotsay.

We're lucky A's didn't score 10 runs while he was in there. Pierre made a great play to save him 3 runs. The zone was very small, but he had absolutely nothing.

And people want to trade Hudson? lol.

Sounds like a Yankees/Red Sox game, but Rose and Grace wouldn't be complaining about the pace of their game.

Well duh, that's important. Those glares that they give the ump every time he calls a strike are in-depth looks into the soul of America.

Fox's "standard def" channel is letter boxed on my TV. is that something new? I dont remember seeing that before.

one of those days

That's a home run

Seriously, can we put Jenks in now?

farmer's right - it's the bullpen that needs help

Ouch.

Pena has nothing.

Ok, thank you Fox for carrying the Mets/Dodgers today so I didn't have to watch this.

Yes, indeed Pena is a great relief pitcher.

hey they broke the so called rule on swinging at the first pitch after back to back homers. what's that about? haha

Everyone needs bullpen help.

Everything needs help right now

Wow, this game sure turned quickly.

Rios sure has been awful on defense since the ASB. He needs to take more control out there.

lol

No one responded to probably the most interesting story today, and that is Dunn isn't in the Nats lineup tonight.

thanks for giving us an out Oakland.

No one actually pulls a player because of a trade any more. They pull them mid-game if necessary.

I know a lot of people dislike him, but Ozzie is awesome on interviews.

Even he makes fun of the first two innings.

He is a great man.

Meh... It's just one of those days. We can't will every game. A loss like this doesn't bother me half as much as the 2 games Jenks blew last week.
