Mazzaro has been hanging his slider nearly every time he has thrown it. I'm glad Castro knocked it out, because I don't want another god damn Kirk Sarloos esque game from the past where somehow a hanging slider when you pitch for Oakland becomes impossible to hit.

Pods did a great job of getting out of the box quickly on that play. It was something he was great at last season. Pierre is now approximately 4 for 27 bunting this season.

I couldn't agree more. You know AJP will be playing tomorrow, even though a lefty is starting against us.

And A's have the lead again. Hopefully Ozzie pulls Garcia sooner than later. Garcia = huge concern for 2nd half of season
