I agree with you. But Juan's defense has been spectacular this year. That's obviously given him more of a pass. But I hated the trade from the start. Only Kalapse hated it more than I did.

I think his D has been overrated, he's just not very good at getting reads, but his speed has made up for it, and he's certainly been better than expected.

 

And I don't know what he was doing stealing there, but it worked out!

It was the right approach, he put a very good swing on a fastball right down the middle. The problem was that he hit the ball less than a millimeter away from the right spot on the bat.

With all the talk about how great a seson Pods is having, his WAR is just 0.9 right now.

With Haren going to the Angels I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Tigers will get Dunn and last minute Kenny will pull off a Prince Fielder deal.

Unless there's real quality on the PTBNL list, none of the guys the Angels gave up were top 10 prospects in their system coming into the year.
