Im sure people want Dayan.

I think with Torres out there you want the best defense possible.

Dayan at DH is not killing the defense. The kid has to get some kind of exposure to RHP.

Bizarre that Viciedo was at 3B when the 25 year old ground ball pitcher made his major league debut a few days back.

Just out of curiosity what lineup do you want tonight? I think it would be cool to see those who complain pretty much about every lineup despite our winning ways list their lineup of the day.

I know I'd like to read them every single day and compare them to our skipper's lineup.

You know, it would be nice if he plays Viciedo...

Who you have been clamoring for to get playing time.

Or...you want to score as many runs as you can.

I won't be too mad since it's a righty on the mound.

Bonderman a career 4.79 ERA in 16 games against us.

I guess I like yours better cause Tank is in there. I'm not sold on starting Lillibridge in right in your lineup. I like his current role. You have CQ and Paulie both over Oz's Paulie and Kotsay, so I like that as well.

If you look at the line up, Konerko is playing DH. So if you want to sit Konerko in favor of Dayan, that would be an interesting argument.

As for Dayan starting at 3b, he hasnt been that great defensively (arguably a liability) and I believe the game Kalapse is referring to the other team was starting a lhp.

I want Dayan to get more at bats, I just think that the majority of those at bats should be coming from the DH spot, which is being used by Konerko tonight.

Even if it was against a LHP, you'd think you'd trade a downgrade in offense for a major upgrade in defense with a ground ball pitcher making his major league debut.

.247 average over 89 at bats...but 5 doubles, 1 triple and 6 homers in 22 hits bodes well for the slugging.

I'll tell you what though, that's a hard .200 that Kotsay has hit against Bonderman.

I dont make the line ups. And I probably would have started Vizquel that game at 3b.

That being said, its easier to have a defensive liability who has a 1.000+ ops versus a .667 ops (Dayan vs lefties as compared to righties).

You are money today.

With today's early win we jumped over Boston in the AL standings.

definitely Ozzie is banging Kotsay's wife...that was their mutual agreement so that he can play every day.

fathom any news on the baby boy? the way you stormed out of the chat the other day I thought it was it!

not a thing, but I had a pep talk with the belly last night saying with today's DH, he should at least wait until Wednesday.

And miss Edwin's first start?

Yesterday was the day. Now he had better do it in the middle of the night or he has to wait 2 weeks...

I agree, my wife picked 8/2 like 3 months ago as the perfect day. Thursday around 4PM wouldn't be too bad.

That's "E-JAX!" to you, pal.

If he throws a no-hitter (I can't see a pitcher like him ever throwing a no-hitter), then it would give me two possible boy names to choose from.

Yep. Just ask... well myself.

You mean one without walking 8 guys? Cause he has thrown one this year against Tampa Bay.
