Danks can teach Edwin a change, Freddy, a splitter, Mark, a cutter, Garcia, a splitter, and Kotsay, how to get a hot wife.

Freddy and Garcia are gonna teach him a splitter? Sick

How is it you haven't paid any attention to the posts where I've given him credit, but you go after me every time I say something negative about him?

Because it would be insane not to give the guy compliments...he's pitching the first time for his new team, against one of his old teams, a division rival, against what are undoubtedly some of his friends...

He's gone out and hung a zero up there and you're on the fence about whether the start is not "bad."

A flaw you point out is that Inge hit a ball near the warning track?

He's done a hell of a job tonight.

Tiger announcer said Coop wanted Jackson to stand taller on the rubber.

Nix just hit a dinger off Lester. His 7th since the start of July

He's done a hell of a job tonight.

He labored through the first 4 innings and it's only by a bit of luck/guile that he gave up nothing there.

He's been dominant for the past 2.1.

He just wiped a guy out on the slider.

Jackson came up there looking for a fastball strike, got it, and hit it. That's going to happen sometimes.

I see what you did there. :P

So far so good on the Jackson experiment.

Jackson is hitting his spot on nearly every fastball he throws.

He pitched over a HUGE defensive miscue, some bad luck, and made 1 bad mistake I can think of.

Dude has been very good tonight. Not dominant, but very good.

Rhymes, LH hitter...went after the high fastball and just flew out.

Edwin still chunkin' it up there at 97 MPH

Good job against Damon. f*** yeah Jackson

I'm happy with it.

Way to go EJax!

If only Willie were here to teach him how to be a pimp.

The last 3 innings its' like he's been unleashed. I think he threw one offspeed pitch the entire 7th, and he dealt with the lefties.

Ok. So, 91 pitches. Does he start the 8th, or go out on top and with a shutout performance?

I run him out in the 8th and pull him if anyone reaches.

He made some bad mistakes the first few innings, but luckily didn't pay for it. Since Cabrera's flyout in the 3rd, he's been great.

Baker is making Tampa look foolish. Tampa hitters missing his offspeed stuff by a foot.

I'm enjoying the fall of Boesh the golden boy. I imagine he'll recover a bit, but i don't see him ever being a huge force in the middle of the order.

Great start by EJax thus far. The control has been just awesome.

It's just one start, but it appears Don Cooper's already paying off.
