I agree, however, in the big picture Rock/Cena 2 for the Title at Wrestlemania is the optimal main event and there is really no argument against that.

 

Sadly, this means Cena will be champ again in 70 days.. that is what is so so boring

Rock-Brock would probably be bigger though that does nothing for the current state of the wwe. I just think it's absurd to have a year build up of "once in a lifetime" and then come back and have the same match next year.

 

I don't hate Cena as much as most people but I literally have 0 interest in Rock-Cena 2.

 

That being said, I'm still going to order Mania so wwe doesn't give a f***.

The Rock hasnt been fully in WWE for what, 12 years now? And he comes back and commands the spotlight still, that is awesome. It will be interesting to see what this year brings for him, he has movies to promote and now has the strap.

Which is all fine and dandy. I was a huge Rock fan growing up and I have no issue with him having the belt but I do have an issue with the two headliners of Wrestlemania being rematches, that's f'n ridiculous imo.

 

Whatever, I'll enjoy Punk-Taker and whatever Bryan, Ziggler and Bryan do and pretty much not care about the rest of the card.

I'd be shocked if we don't get Rock-Cena 2 and Triple H-Lesnar 2. And I have no interest in either of those. Hopefully they switch that up but I highly doubt they do. Mania shouldn't be a place for rematches imo(though it does happen quite often).

Lesnar resigns for two more years. Expires after Mania 31. Guessing he shows tonight.

Ya I can see that. And Kyyle I'd be thrilled if you were right about this Heyman stable vs everyone type deal but I doubt it. Brock-hhh 2 seems to be almost a lock unfortunately.

I read the tentative plan is to have Jericho resume his program with Ziggler.

There was nowhere else to go with Punks title reign. He had to lose. And the Rock has been using the People's Elbow as his finisher for the last couple of years he's wrestled.

 

Last, but not least, for a supposed great storyteller in the ring, Punk has been pretty boring. If he isn't botching big time matches, he's having someone else save him. I've been labled as a Punk hater, so whatever. I do have a shirt of his and liked him up until he became a constant whiner. You're WWE champion and still whining.

Undertaker won't give up that streak unless it's to Brock Lesnar if anyone. Even then, I don't think Vince will let the streak go. And you can have the same buildup of Punk vs Taker with or without the title. If you put the title on the line, every knows Taker would lose because he literally could only muster up a match per year, if that. By having Punk lose, you have him losing to an all-time great, and get the title on someone who brings way more attention to the WWE.

One of the "botched" gts' was on purpose. Either way that match was still fantastic because of both Punk and Cena.
