FYI, right about THIS time many were ALLUDING to Konerko appearing physically out of shape and done. Its funny how terrible performances can make you think you see certain characteristics of players even through their baggy uni's from only your TV.

Konerko has slumped mentally as well. He's just learned to deal with it better as his career has progressed.

I can't recall anybody ever criticizing Paul for being overweight or out of shape. The years he's sucked were mostly do to a combination of physical ailments beyond his control and the fact that he was once a mental midget.

Well yeah, start of 2005 was probably a mental one...the 2 that were really bad though were 2003 (foot) and 2007 (hand/wrist/thumb).

He apparently isn't even answering his phone right now, according to Gonzo. Maybe we can DL him for mental issues because (in all seriousness), I think he is lost mentally. He might seriously have some sort of depression thing going on with how bad he has been.
