great park to hit in unless you're the whitesox

Daniel Hudson is just a really good pitcher. He will end up with an ERA around 3.3 this year. Arizona is an exciting team

Agreed. I haven't had much of a chance to watch them this year, but the future looks bright. They are loaded with young pitching. Skaggs, Holmberg, Bauer, and Bradley. Good for them.

Typical 1 hit in 4 innings but Walker still gets paid the 15th and 30th.

It's LuIS, Stone, not Louie. Lou-ees.

With having a pitcher in lineup and no DH it's more important than ever to get Lillibridge or Viciedo into the lineup

amen but preaching to the choir.

And don't forget the professional hitters that the Chicago White Sox employ too. :lolhitting

They're laughing all the way to the bank.

The theory is that for the most part, pitchers over time can't control anything other than Ks BBs and HRs. The BABIPs will regress, though it may take a full season ro more to do so. There are a handful of exceptions to this, but for the most part it has bee proven correct. Based on this understanding, it does measure what the pitchers are 'actually doing'.

Based on this reasoning though, hitters should be judged on line-drive rates, park factors, etc. rather than using wOBA as the main component.

Or as Lupe would say, "1st and 15th".

At least it's a legitimate pitcher not some nobody.

Hitters are the ones in control of LD rate, it doesn't regress to the mean as much for hitters.

I wish Rios and Pierre would just collide with one another resulting in a trip to the Disabled list for both of them. Now that would be something wish for.

STOP MAKING ME LOOK STUPID :P But I do think I have a valid argument.

wow does this team never cease to make good pitches look like cy young award winners that are virtually unhittable

1 run in 22+ innings how many of these streaks will we see before something is done

I'm pleased Kenny has a front row seat for this one.

Christ, 14 in a row retired, one damn hit again.

This is when you know white sox suck, Hudson has 0.88 Groun outs/Air Outs, and he already has 7 ground outs vs 2 fly outs. What a fail team

Did Rios totally forget how to hit to right or center?

keep the ball down and this team has no chance yet they refuse to adjust

That was a dirty slider. Unfortunately he was saving it for Hudson.

This game is truly disgusting me up to this point. Ozzie being stubborn with the lineup. Sox seem like they wish Viciedo and Lillibridge were playing too. And Hudson looking too good along with hitters looking too bad.

A team with a worse lead off guy than us.

Great now Jackson settling down gonna result in him being in the rotation leading to a 6 man rotation again

Like Peavy won't be hurt within 3 starts..

Ahhhh, we're just a couple of solo homers from being right back in this game.
