Thanks for the jinx. I now guarantee Pena will go deep at least twice. Maybe 3 times.

And Zambrano is capable of mowing us down.

2.) then none of them are good at their job, cause nobody uses that stuff. Hawk Harrelson?? He'd laugh in your face with some of these new mega stats.

Hawk's resume as a GM does not qualify him to laugh in anyone's face.

Holy heck, a ton of empty seats.

Let that be a warning to MLB never to put the Sox and Cubs in the same division. It would eventually kill the game.

Two down...25 to go for perfect game.

Gavin could be making history tonight!

Good stuff from Floyd thus far. He has done well locating his fastball and the last curveball to DeWitt was filth. Good sign when he's on this early.

Leadoff single from Pierre.

Even if he doesn't run, Pierre can atleast fluster the hell out of Zambrano here.

Pierre is on fire!!!

All right Pierre

Gavin Floyd has a 1.60 era in interleague coming in. Best for any starter (presumably with an innings minimum)

Well that was lame.

edit: nm I thought Pierre got thrown out... that's what I get for doing Rosetta Stone lessons while watching the game

Really, no it wouldn't.

Wow, Zambrano's stuff is flat. He has nothing, atleast at this point.

That last slider from Quentin that he whiffed on was terrible.
