This is when the organization had high hopes of doing damage in the playoffs every year, coming off a championship. It turns out I could've made both because that night game vs Cleveland was rain delayed for awhile. Anyhow, when I got home, I saw that Thome homer, and I remember saying to myself: "Wow, I don't see how they don't win the whole thing again."
