Damn maybe the White Sox offense is rubbing off on the Rockies. No one out does the Sox leaving men on base, you hear that Rockies, this is our gimmick.

Can we sue for gimmick infringement?

When's the last time we got a hit?

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 29, 2011 -> 10:25 PM)
Sox need to figure out some sort of way to magically score runs that doesnt involve hits. Im thinking swinging at passed balls for dropped 3rd strike. Or maybe just trying for walks and being beaned. Im just not sure that a team of AAA players would be consistently held under 3 runs so often. Its just unbelievable.

Again... This is where offense in MLB is this year.

7 IP, 2ER, pitched over 2 defensive lapses.

Sound a lot like Gavins line from last night.

ding ding ding :) never noticed knoxville balta.. sorry you live around UT freaks.. yuck. You do any trout fishin over there? Your close to alot of good spots.

Pierre?

Obviously the White Sox have several copyrights on how to strand a runner at 3b. One of them is definitely the: Pop up in the infield weak hit to the pitcher, Im pretty sure thats their go to move.

Mark Buehrle has been very Mark Buehrle-esque this season.

If Lillibridge would have gotten hit by the ball the other day and made the play last night, we might be .500.

Of course, without him earlier in the season....we're 6-8 games under.

Where have you gone, Juan Pierre's "burst."

Pierre?

Ruled an error I thought. Tonight's game is so similar to last night, it's scary. Ozzie should use Dunn here for Morel.

Giambi is playing first. That could be a start.

Only been here for a year and a half, haven't gotten into the fishin yet.

Oh I know that offense is down, but 2 runs per game just wont cut it. Maybe in the deadball era, but most pitchers still dont sport a sub 2 era. if the Sox could just score 3 runs a game, I think they may be over 500 (not going to waste my time checking)

Anyone playing the Sox from 7th inning on offense is doing just fine!

O juan.. i know he's been on base the last couple games.. but man alive his outs are just so weak.

Messing up a bunt attempt always seems to work well, too.

Sprinkled in with numerous double play balls when there's a runner at first and third.

Or simply having slow runners at 3rd who can't score on anything but sac flies to the warning track.

Pierre wouldn't be the first guy to lose a step at 32 or 33, also all those steals take a toll.

Well at least this romantic comedy commercial is making me not want to murder anyone.

That was Ozzie's best chance to use Dunn effectively. Oh well, 0 hits tonight from the 3 easy outs in the lineup (Morel, Beckham, Rios)

Which should have figured into consideration with players like Pods and Pierre who had taken so much abuse from constantly running in their 20's.

Look at what's become of Chone Figgins, for another example.

Sox are 20th in MLB in runs scored after the 6th. 10 teams are worse.

So true, Dunn couldn't look any worse than this team innings 5+ the last 2 days. Well I guess we havn't been striking out much these 2 games, so at least it would be a different out, that would be cool.

You're not counting Pierre and the pitcher?

Dunn was not hitting the ball harder than Morel. You know that.

If my life depended on Mark or Dunn getting a hit, Im not sure you dont take Mark at this point.

Lost the most games from 7th inning on somebody is hitting on the opposite team wins and losses are all that count to me.
