MLB TV free game of the day!

Damned blackout rules.

JP pitch count is sky high fast.

Tulo gettin' on my nerves.

boom

Peavy's velocity is down. 89-91 pretty consistently.

Does he always throw like that in the beginning of the game and then get it back up closer to the mid-90's as the game goes on?

Can't seem to put Tulowitzki away at all, not missing bats. Five foul balls now on 3-2 pitches, 13 pitches.

Ugh. 3 run homer.

You knew that was coming. God damn Tulo is great.

greg was right about this game. Our lineup is unlikely to get 4 runs with Paulie on the bench.

Absolutely no excuse for him to be pitching today. Bad, bad decision. Hector Santiago likely to get a lot of innings today.

Well I will not have to be watching this all day. Sox will not get 3 runs all day.

gee, he hit the 89mph "heater"?

oof

That'll teach me to watch the game....

looked like the same pitches in the same location every time

well another afternoon game at work over early

Didn't Peavy pitch like 2 days ago?

Have a bad feeling about this....

They'd be better off just letting Santiago go out there or whoever.

We'll see if this has any lingering effects.

I was about to mention this. I thought you were spot-on when you initially alluded to this.

He's on normal, 4 days rest.

Really wish the organization would learn what we've all seen: you have to treat Peavy with a lot of caution. As soon as I saw that article last night saying he brought in his massage therapist to make sure he was ready today, I was praying for a rain out.

Yup, pitching on regular rest be damned!!!

Poor decision-making and Chicago White Sox go hand in hand.

saturday he is throwing on four days rest what is the problem?

Yup, pitching on regular rest be damned!!!

It's not just the 4 days rest, but it's the fact that he's ending up throwing a ton of game pitches in an 8 day period coming off of the DL. If this was Buehrle, that's one thing. But this is someone that seems to struggle keeping their stuff for a week or so after a high pitch count game.
