Castro is on the 15-day disabled list with a broken right hand and index finger after being hit by a Mark Buehrle pitch while catching on July 9 against Minnesota. He underwent surgery on the hand on July 14. Castro's rehabilitation process is expected to take eight to 12 weeks.
