Lets go Gordon

Torture ball.

some of these guys just go up there swinging at everything and anything

QUOTE (Real @ Jul 20, 2011 -> 08:23 PM)
sell off what? Rios and Dunn are the contracts that are destroying this team (And Peavy's)

sell off the contracts that are actually helping the team, and keep the trash?

this makes no sense.

Yep!

Hideous swing by Beckham. It's not like he was going to hit Crow's fastball, so he should have been sitting on the slider.

That is how you do the most effective rebuild. Maximize the value of everything. If a guy is performing at his contract level or is about to get paid more for performing, you move him. If a guy is underperforming, you hold them and try to get them back to normal value.

Beckham needs help with his swing that he's not getting from the Sox' current hitting coach.

Playing like a team that the manager needs to get fired from. Just a terrible effort by AJP, who definitely seems to have no plans for postseason play this year.

The dreaded lead-off dropped third strike. :(

great leadoff man aboard

Even the f***ing padres can score 14 runs lmao

The inability of our hitters to get on base and score runs, is going to ultimately destroy this pitching staff

When will Kenny Williams assemble a lineup of guys with the ability to get on base above a .330 clip?

White Sox Baseball: Moneyball, it is not.

I think I'm gonna create the term Kennyball, you heard it here first

T.T.I.D.

ok so Sale is done

This won't end well.

3-5 against the Royals? Really? What more evidence do they need that something...ANYTHING...needs to be changed.

THIS TEAM WILL SELF DESTRUCT IN 5...4...3...2...1...

KC and Sox love extra innings.

Sale just s***s the bed anymore.

Should have gone to third

By my count, that's the fourth extra inning game out of 8 total.

How is this on Sale?

If Aj stops the ball on the first batter there are 2 outs and a man on 1b.

I wish Sale was working on his 20th start of the season in Birmingham.

Not blaming this game on him...just saying.

Alexei's cannon arm could have come in handy on that last play.
