Meh, resulted in having the bases loaded with 1 out

It doesn't matter.

The manager's job is to put the team in the best position as possible to win, and if anyone can saw Ozzie has consistently been doing this, you are crazy.

Dunn shouldn't be anywhere near the 4 hole until he at least starts hitting 2/3 of his weight.

Taking the bat out of your most dangerous hitter's hands is a no-no.

That's not even to close to have your least dangerous hitter batting cleanup.

:)

He's having a bad day, we're only up 1, Omar isn't likely to drive it into the gap. Worst case is Dunn strikes out and Quentin comes up with 2 on and 2 outs. In the 7th inning, I don't hate that call

Plus one of these days Dunn will start hitting again

God our offense sucks.

Also, by having Dunn bat with runners on first and second, you took the shift out of the equation. It gave him a much greater chance to succeed in that at bat.

Santos time!

The offense today was provided by a minor leaguer.

Let Sale face Betemit; then get Serg?

Just saw a Brewers fan (on another site) stating there are some rumors of Gamel and the Sox.

Against a lefty? His only chance was walking and was fortunate to do that. We needed runs knocked in, not walks. Paulie is our best run producer.

If Dunn walks three times a game the rest of the year it would be fine with me.

I really like that he has gone the other way a couple of times and is seeing a ton of pitches.

8, 9, and 1 for Santos.

I think Sale is gonna face the first 2 batters and Santos gets the last guy

I guess Sale is in against Betemit...

2 more.

This Sale kid seems really good and he can pitch several innings. Why don't we try him out as a starter?

web gem!

If Sale gets Avila without much trouble, I say you keep him to finish it...

Great play by Quentin.

Q will get a nice haul.
