Will AJ bunt ?

Thank God no !!!!!

Ha, guess that's why you don't bunt. Way to go AJ, shades of 2005 against Wakefield during the regular season!

AJ 3-1 :headbang

Thornton warming.

Ohman had been up.

Sutton/Scutaro/Ellsbury due.

We're really going to take 7 in a row against BOSTON? That's pretty amazing. More amazing than their bad records against KC and Minnesota, almost.

Can't even remember the last time AJ homered. I'll take it.

Now that the Phillies got their guy and it doesn't look like Atlanta will give much of anything, how about the Sox go on a tear?

This. Unless you can get some high-end talent for CQ, you're better off keeping him.

rofl that schedule they just showed is so SCARY

Anyone know the record for combined pitcher/batter age? I'm guessing Wakefield pitching to Vizquel's gotta be up there. That's 88 years between them.

If Clemens ever faced Franco in 2006, that might beat it by a year or two. Or if Moyer pitched to Franco in '07.

Trading for A prospects wasn't going to be the right move for KW.

Domonic Brown, sure. But not some guys who MIGHT make an impact 2-3 years down the line.

There's rebuilding with an eye towards 2013 and towards 2015, and that long-term thinking just isn't going to work with our fans unless it's Liriano/Nathan/Bonser in return.

It's definitely shaping up that he'll be kept and then traded in the offseason. That might be best for the organization, as you wouldn't "white flag" this season and then try to get some cost-controlled help for next year. It wouldn't shock me if Viciedo's injury is worse than they've let on, but we don't want to announce it until after the deadline.

The only thing that's scary is the Twins.

We can handle the Yankees and Orioles.
