I hope the Sox either develop or sign or trade for a couple of guys who actually look like they have fun playing baseball.

SERIOUSLY! These guys have looked this way for the better part of 4 years.....

Our organization, since 2006, seems to frown upon such players.

I don't think the plays were as tough as Hawk makes them out to be, but Dunn has been better with the glove than advertised.

a fastball right down the middle called a ball. Got to love an Ump with bad eye sight.

The 90 MPH ish fastball right down the middle with no life or movement to it seems to be Peavy's security blanket pitch these days.

Honestly, this disaster is going to end up being good for the franchise. Had we somehow managed to win this Comedy Central, KW and OG would be brought back. Now that it has blown up in their faces, they will surely both lose their jobs. The franchise will FINALLY be able to move forward.

You think him being injured had nothing to do with it?

I hope you're right. Well, I'm confident that you're right about this blowing up in their faces and the squad not making the playoffs (again). But, I'm still worried that Kenny, Ozzie, or both will be back next year.

Is it true that on TBS "Sounds of the Game" yesterday, when Ozzie went to tell the umpire Dunn was going to be playing first, the ump told Ozzie he would lose his DH and Ozzie said he hadn't had one since April?

There's no way. NO WAY. There will be no fans next year if they are.

His last 4 or 5 starts before his injury were pretty impressive.

Dunn made contact!

Dunn made contact!

Rios hit a ball hard!

It feels like when either of these things happen, it's some sort of accident. Having both occur back to back is almost miraculous.

Did Rios change his stance?

Great at bat right there by A.J. after our first hit. These guys are really into the game tonight.

I think someone already answered this for me a few posts up.

14 whole pitches for CC.

I gotta say its awful to see Peavy just struggle like this, what a career he was to have but injuries got the better of it

Everything Peavy throws is getting hammered tonight.
