February 24, 201313 yr The "blind resumes" of Illinois and Kentucky comparison made no sense. Today was a game where if we won, holy crap, if we lose, not a big deal at this point. Haven't had one of those in a while. Go beat Nebraska, try to grab one from Iowa on the road, finish out against Ohio St and grab the first win in the BTT and see what seed that gets us.

Illinois is projected to go into the tourney by all 89 mocks around the web as the 7th seed. http://bracketproject.50webs.com/matrix.htm Kentucky's only projected to go in by 67 of them at the 11th seed. Illinois is a sure-bet to make it into the tourney. How they play against Iowa or Ohio State will determine whether or not they can possibly get a 5th seed, but I don't think they can get knocked out of the tournament at this point unless they lose all of the remaining games.
February 26, 201313 yr Wouldn't be surprised if Illinois is better than a 7 but that's not an awful guess at this point.
