March 3, 201313 yr Wisconsin got up by 13, then decided to play joke basketball where they missed 15 straight 3s? Just stupid.
March 3, 201313 yr QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 01:50 PM) Wisconsin got up by 13, then decided to play joke basketball where they missed 15 straight 3s? Just stupid. It looked like they gave their unis to the intramural champs or something. Not sure I've ever seen Wisky play so bad!
March 3, 201313 yr It was senior day and it seemed like seniors were pressing. Bruiser started 0-4, he missed a layup. Just a bad game.
March 3, 201313 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 02:04 PM) DJ Byrd strikes again. f*** that guy. We'll agree on that one! Can't stand him!
March 3, 201313 yr QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 12:53 PM) The Dakich Index is his opinion of how teams are playing now and it changes weekly. It doesn't reflect season accomplishments. It's basically a floating list of the last 3-5 games. Yeah, Illinois was like 3 last Sunday...so it's a weird index. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 01:37 PM) Wisconsin really screwing themselves today. Wow, that's a really bad loss. WTF?
March 3, 201313 yr Let's see, a Michigan win would mean an outright Big Ten title with one win in their last two games. Michigan's uniforms rank right at the top of WORST UNIFORMS EVER. Having trouble deciding who to root for.....
March 3, 201313 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 04:07 PM) Could Iowa be the 8th Big Ten team in the Dance this year? Sure, if they win the Big Ten Tourney.
March 3, 201313 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 05:07 PM) Could Iowa be the 8th Big Ten team in the Dance this year? Unless the committee doesn't follow any criteria they have used in prior years Iowa isn't even remotely close to the dance. Even if they win their last 2 regular season games they won't even be mentioned without a deep run in the BTT.

March 3, 201313 yr QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 05:19 PM) Trey Burke bueno. Yeah, both ends taken over. To win without hitting a 3 is odd for that team.
March 3, 201313 yr QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 06:07 PM) In bubble news Virginia loses to BC. Ouch. Road games following a win over Duke has been killer. Maryland beat Duke a couple of weeks ago and then lost at Georgia Tech. And now Virginia.
March 4, 201313 yr The bubble sucks this year. The fact that Baylor is still as close as they are should say something, because they are hot garbage. I don't see Iowa making a run without Gesell.

I don't see Iowa making a run without Gesell. Losing to Northwestern at home should relegate you to the NIT barring some major resume builders elsewhere (see Illinois).
March 4, 201313 yr QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 3, 2013 -> 07:47 PM) The bubble sucks every year. Yes, but the bubble really sucks this year. It is worse. Lunardi went so far as to comment on ESPN Radio last night that he is rooting for conference tournament upsets (which makes it harder for him to be right) because right now he is putting teams into the field by default. When asked how Tennessee is now in after losing to Georgia, he couldn't give an answer. I get the sense he flipped a coin or something close to that. The SEC is terrible this year. I mean, really terrible. They barely deserve 2 teams and one could argue their lack of road wins makes their resume very shaky. But neutral site wins over VCU and Illinois will be enough to get them in, the seeding will take care of the rest. Tennessee is still a possibility with a couple of wins this week, including a home win over Missouri. Iowa's problem is to get in they are going to have to beat Indiana in the B1G quarterfinals Friday morning. I just don't see that happening at this point. They might not even beat Purdue Thursday (assuming that is how the seeds finalize).
