Yeah I have a feeling thatll be a trend with Gordon

Striking out looking on pitches well off the plate? Okay.

I agree, he still doesn't have a batter's eye and likely won't.

Also, STFU Hawk.......grumble...

I was being a smartass previously with Morel but a bunt there by Beckham wouldn't have been a bad idea.

I agree there. Maybe help him get his confidence up a bit if he gets him over.

Home plate ump is having a bad day. If Danks gets the same calls it will be OK, but there were 2 pitches clearly not strikes called strikes.

Did De Aza just swing at a slider that went between his legs? OMG. How about some plate discipline?

I wasnt talking about the last pitch. My feed is a little behind.

Come on Brent...

Morel really pulling his head off the ball, like Hawk said.

2 strikeouts for Brent. I thought the whole idea behind batting him 2nd was he didn't strikeout?

lmao

I think the pressure is getting to him.

The bad news is the offense looks horrid. The good news is that its early and Dunn looked pretty good at the plate.

It's really too bad we can't just play Fukudome and let him bat 2nd until he hits his "rest of the season" swoon

How do you just watch that pitch go by...man oh man...

Is it bad that i now get hit by a bout of crippling depression every time Beckham comes to the plate?

At least he would get on base.

AJ will be batting second soon. Not a good inning leaving the Tanks on 2nd. C'mon Danks need a good third inning from you.

Contreras is the trivia answer. I had no idea he told KW that if Alexei didn't work out, he'd pay his salary. It would never have happened, but the Count is a huge reason the Sox signed Ramirez.

Well, the good news is that I can't imagine there being a 2013 in a Sox jersey for Beckham if he struggles in 2012. Make or break year for him with this organization, and I think he'll do good enough to stick around.

Kinsler ownz Jhonny Danks.

Not a great start.
