Quite the defensive first pitch swing by Konerko there. Hitting looks sluggish so far.

Alexei is opening up way too early at the plate. This offense is just offensive right now, with just a shocking lack of hard hit balls. I really can't believe Eduardo Escobar is playing 3rd base in the third game of the season.

Why is that shocking? We aren't a great offensive team. We're not going to score a ton of runs this year.

 

This is how 1-run innings turn into multiple run innings. Walks freakin' Kinsler. He's obviously gonna be running, then an annoying single from Andrus will score him...4 pitches. Come on Gavin. Better than that.
