Sinker not sinking much until the Beckham pitch.

Danks can get the ball up today with this weather, he needs to manage his pitch count better via strikes especially with a three run lead.

Hafner hits one out on the first pitch. 4-2 Sox.

Travis Hafner just absolutely crushed a pitch, now 4-2...

good god he served that up there...

Hafner with homer on the first pitch. Looks like the weather isn't all bad

My new favorite Fu-ku-do-me is 2-3 so far. Mr. April...Ventura should ride that.

Dang, Hafner just hit a dinger. At least we wasn't last inning with runners on. C'mon Dankster..shut these weaklings down. This is Cleveland, not Texas.

Danks allowing far too many base runners against this lineup.

Off day yesterday and tomorrow I know the first and second were good innings but danks is not long for this game.

We aren't exactly playing solid baseball right now...and now the tying run is on base, with no outs.

dear god Viciedo that was pathetic

2 singles after that homer and no outs. Danks is digging himself a hole here

0-2 pitch got too much of the plate, say what you want about defense but his control is terrible. Same old danks a real solid 5 or 6 inning pitcher.

Good job Danks

It is going to be a bullpen kind of day today.

Good job Danks

He came up strong when he needed to. Good job

Wow, another shaky inning for Danks, but only allows one run. Let score some more runs. Please. Have the best chance here.

Huge two outs by Danks...time for offense to get going again.

Farmio is just killing the Cleveland official scorer. Sounds like he blown about 4 scores.

I retract my previous statement. Morel is inducing errors from the opposition well so far.

Dunn with a single to the wall in RF. Choo would have shot him at second if he had tried. Morel to third.

I'm simply saying compared to the rest of the division, this rotation IS rock solid. and no, Floyd is actually AMAZINGLY consistent over the last few years. His ERA doesn't reflect it, but that's because it's an imperfect stat. FIP's of 3.77, 3.46, and 3.88 the last 3 seasons to total a 12.4 WAR. He's been much, much better than his ERA indicates.

I'll give you Danks' inconsistency, but he still had a 3.77 FIP last year. again, much better than his ERA.

And, when healthy, I said Peavy can compete with anyone in the division not named Verlander. Who do you like better?

Just in this division alone, I'll take Cleveland's top 2-3, Danks and Floyd, Minnesota's top 2, Detroit's top 3, and maybe now Bruce Chen over Peavy.

He's got to learn to pitch the Freddie Garcia route where he no longer has his fastball. And I doubt he's going to do that here.

No one who saw Floyd in 2009-2010 would ever call him amazingly consistent. An ERA of 7 followed by an ERA of 1 month to month just isn't normal.

And Danks, well, we all saw the last inning.

Not Smart Masterson, putting people on for Konerko.

Nearly a homer? PK has to stay out of the DP here

Morel on base twice b/c of an error. Nice job Brent. Going to call that occurrence a doublebrent.
